I love the raw and honest commentary about Norway, every country has a dark aspect to it and this was just fun! xD I will say, I think the most ridiculous of them all was how they avoid using the word "corruption" and the former PM saying she needs a nanny for her husband?! What a bonkers comment and downplaying her actions that should honestly be illegal. Politicians should not be participating in insider trade while in office due to the blatant conflict of interest.

In the Philippines, our cucumber news is called "Marites." It's a short form of "Maré, what's the latest?" Maré is a term of endearment for woman. And Marites is a local female name. Her name became a meme for gossiper.

I agree with most of this, but whale meat is much better for the climate than industrial farmed meat, even much greener than chicken for Norwegians, and it's sustainable. It's not as if we're gonna die from eating whale meat. If we're gonna continue eating meat, and want to save the climate, then people should eat locally and sustainably sourced food, when possible - in Norway whale is such a source.

Oh, once again it's season of cucumbers (have it in Croatia as well, but it's becoming the whole year thing). Living in Norway, btw so I find this very comforting :)

I don't follow the currency rates, so it was a new thing that NOK is low now. Maybe I should come to Norway next month because it's cheaper now :) That clip of tourists walking on snow in April 2015 was funny. In that year I went to Lofoten in July and it really was a cold summer. Some locals there said it was the coldest summer in 40 years or like that.

Whale hunting is unhealthy because if I catch the trawlers at it they will be in trouble. Leave the whales alone.🐋🐳🐋 The uk is currently in a heatwave,after being 13oc for months.
